Participation in PLKMM 2015 Competition - Poster Doodles and Manga Drawing

Participated in these competition just for fun. For poster doodles competition, the them is about Earth Day and manga drawing competition is a random, you can copy the real existing character or create your own manga creature.

Here's the Post-Dood artwork "will you save me?" done by me :

The concept I bring up for this poster is Yin and Yang acted out by 2 whales forming the shape of Yin - Yang itself. This also remind us of whats happening now on earth. Us, as the living humane creature on earth is responsible towards mother nature. But the question is, will you save (these whales) the mother nature before you kill it slowly ?

Here's the Manga Competition artwork "Santa Last Christmas" done by me :

The Idea behind the scene

the making of
I joined this competition actually to accompany my brother, he loves anime so much, I didn't want him to missed out such a great chance to show his talents. I ended up joining along and re-draw the very first idea behind the scene which I made somewhen during this semester in class zZZzzzz. That's a faceless character, and the idea was purely mine, look at her hair, I just love to doodle the round circle all over her hair and all around her (snow-alike?). The concept was all connected to each other, to my previous digital work about "I saw Santa last Christmas". Its about a hybrid female santa, a combination between a pretty mysterious girl and a deer. Yeah, what's on her head ? Its a combi between death (sadness) and snowy Christmas (happiness), kind of Yin and Yang again.
The Artwork Exhibition @ Supernova, Didaktos

I didn't won either of these, but, my manga character was placed 3rd for the competition. Well, I said I didn't won because the committee only provide trophy and prize for 2 winners. Too bad right ! Hehe, and my brother's anime drawing placed 4th by committee and 5th by votes. Glad enough hehe

Behind The Scene - Key Chain or Whatever, I Love What I Do When I'm Bored !

So, I was trying to fill the free time I rarely have during these weekends, trying to use up a waste (to me it is not) material : balsa wood (bener ga tuh ? kayu balsa ding) which is a very light wood and other materials like ring, phone straps, synthetic leather, pendant, etc I have. I love dressing up my flash disk with cute pendant or whatever I can make with my hand :D

Turquoise Type

Wooden Type
In the end I used them as my flash disk dress-up and I kept the wooden type phone straps because I made it with some sort of memories (should I say haha?) and the keychain too, too beautiful to use !
