Behind The Scene - Workshop Transfer Image on Wood by DGTMB

So, right after the PLKMM Post-Dood competition, we straight away went to DGTMB Shop for a workshop about Image Transfer on Wood ! It's an amazing workshop presented by dagingtumbuh and segi enam. Here's the place (wait for the update !) and the work done. Went for the opening of the exhibition collaboration but have no time to go for the closing ceremony :(

This artwork was done in tribute and monumentalize my first water colour painting :)

Behind The Scene - First Water Colour Painting

So, after 4 and a half years in Malaysia, I realized the colouring media I usually used was a poter colour. It's way different from water colour. Water colour dries faster and the water combination affects the change in colour, either both its better to start off with a lighter colour. Here's my first water colour painting done in 2013 on a fine Saturday in December :)

Behind The Scene (the 6 months "holiday")

I finnished my highschool years in 2012, and was unemployed (?) for around 6 months waiting for Indonesia's syllabus in around June. During those times, I spent my whole day on the net searching for postcrossers friend across the world. Like taking it as my new hobby (but sadly I decide to retired because of the busy college life +tired as a bonus) - International postcrossing.

Handmade Postcards - Traditional Transportation in Indonesia
Got the whole idea to make something better, unique, and special by making it handmade, with love :) In addition of practicing the water colouring I've missed during highshool (I was in science class, and I took art only during the examination day). Oh my God, I missed Malaysia so much :;(
